Judging Criteria
All of the Soundcheck judges are involved in the music industry either as
professional managers, publishers, producers, writers or record company managers.
Their ongoing role is to discover new talent that has potential to be a commercial
success in the music industry.
Judges are looking for originality of song and sound, plus the overall quality
of the arrangement. On the night of the Soundcheck Live Showcase, the judges
will be looking at the overall performance. The overall view is that the
quality of entered recordings is not as important as the quality and originality
of the live performances, sounds and songs.
