Bio:

Coby is an 18-year-old woman who has arrived on Perth's live music scene. For the past two years she has been singing and playing with a residential spot in local venues such as Wild Fig Cafe in Watermans and Villa Bianchis Wine Bar in Scarborough. But in the last six months, Coby has extended her base, singing to customers in the likes of The Carine, Atrium Cocktail Bar and the Diamond Lounge at the Burswood International Resort Casino, The Long Bar at the Pagoda Broadwater Resort in Como, Sorrento Quay Hillarys Marina, The Vic in Subiaco, The Foundry in Cannington, Rosie 0' Gradys in Fremantle and The Boat in Mindarie. As well as this, Coby performs at a vast range of private and corporate functions. The recognition she has gained from this work also led to being a support act for Marcia Hines Valentines Day concert in Kings Park and also a live television performance in 2004's Telethon.

Coby has just completed recording her new CD, 'First To Know', which consists of five classic covers and six of her own originals. The originals show the desire and passion of where Coby is heading, and the CD is available to listen to and purchase online at www.chaosmusic.com, as well as at record stores supporting unsigned artists in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne and is also for sale at Coby's gigs. Her CD received airtime on local radio station Twin Cities 89.7FM when she had an interview with Geoff Curtis and more recently on commercial radio station 96FM. Coby's title track from her CD was played after an interview with Darren De Mello on the Sunday night count down show.

Coby has no backing tapes, no drum machines and no other musicians, just raw acoustic talent and flawless vocals. All you need to do is close your eyes and listen to Coby's unique style and amazing voice when it comes to recreating her covers and performing her originals. If you add to this Coby's warm smile, outgoing personality and her dedication to giving her best every time she gets in front of a crowd you end up with a great LIVE performance.
